Account and Data Deletion Requests
Disconnect a provider at any time, or ask BillFound to offboard your account and review retained data for deletion.
Effective August 22, 2026
Request deletion
- Email support@billfound.com from the email address used for your BillFound account.
- Use the subject BillFound account and data deletion.
- Include your business or workspace name and state whether you want account offboarding only or also request removal of retained synchronized data and finding history.
- Complete the ownership verification requested by Support. We will not process a deletion request based only on an unverified email claiming to own the workspace.
We will acknowledge the request and provide status after ownership and workspace authority are verified.
What account offboarding does
BillFound's implemented offboarding process:
- Disables the user account so future login is denied.
- Revokes active sessions.
- Removes the user's workspace memberships.
- Stops scheduled scans when a workspace has no active member.
- Deletes stored provider OAuth credentials when the workspace has no active member.
- Writes a redacted audit record showing that offboarding occurred.
Offboarding is designed to be idempotent. Repeating the operation does not restore access or credentials.
What may be retained
Account offboarding does not automatically erase all previously synchronized workspace evidence. BillFound may retain prior calendar and billing normalized records, match evidence, findings, review decisions, scan history, billing status, and redacted audit or security records when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute handling, troubleshooting, and service operation.
If you request removal of retained data, BillFound will review the workspace records for deletion or de-identification after verifying that no other active workspace owner requires them. Records may remain where retention is required by law, necessary to protect account security or resolve a dispute, or present in backup copies until those copies are securely replaced or deleted. BillFound does not currently promise a fixed automatic purge period. We will tell you if a requested category cannot be removed and why.
Disconnect without deleting your account
Open Connections in the authenticated app and select Disconnect for any connected provider. BillFound deletes the stored OAuth credential and stops future access for that provider. You may also revoke BillFound in the relevant calendar or billing provider account settings.
Disconnecting does not delete your BillFound account and does not automatically delete previously synchronized records, findings, or review history. Use the deletion request above when you want account offboarding or retained-data review.
After deletion or offboarding
BillFound will no longer run scans for an orphaned workspace or use deleted OAuth credentials to access connected providers. A new account and new provider authorization would be required to use BillFound again.
